Don't let them Take your Smiles Away You tell me I should wait And stand in line You tell me that my heartbeats Been skipping time Chorus Why does it have to be so complicated? There has to be a better way Why does it have to be so complicated? Don't let them take your smiles away I tore myself to pieces Deep inside I heard your songs And felt the tears you've cried Why does it have to be so complicated? There has to be a better way Why does it have to be so complicated? Don't let them take your smiles away You whisper soft and gentle, melodies 10, 000 brilliant colours Through the trees Chorus Why does it have to be so complicated? There has to be a better way Why does it have to be so complicated? Don't let them take your smiles away

Many Shades 03:54
Many Shades Life is but a morning shadow In the ashes, we call yesterday We're closing doors and windows In this slow decay Underneath the breathing In between the cobbled stones Underneath the layers Underneath the flesh and bones Blood will bleed in many shades Inside these crimson hours Chorus Paint the days by numbers Ride the waves to cyberspace You can race to beat the second hand But it's the hours you can't replace In the whispers of tomorrow Weeping rumours fall behind Blood will bleed in many shades Yet, they call us human kind Underneath the mirrors In between the broken shards The rules will never change So long as they hold all the cards Blood will bleed in many shades Inside these crimson hours Chorus Paint the days by numbers Ride the waves to cyberspace You can race to beat the second hand But it's the hours you can't replace Life is but a morning shadow It's not tomorrow, it's not yesterday We're closing doors and windows In this slow decay Underneath the grieving In between the semi tones Underneath the players Underneath the flesh and bones Blood will bleed in many shades Inside these crimson hours Chorus Paint the days by numbers Ride the waves to cyberspace You can race to beat the second hand But it's the hours you can't replace

Change our Minds I've been looking into the future What did I see? What did I see? I saw many beautiful people A lot like you and me Only they kept all the innocence That we've left behind And I believe the children Can change our minds I've been looking into the future What did I see? What did I see? I saw many children They were a lot like you and me Only they kept all the innocence That we've left behind And I believe the children Could change our minds I believe the children are the future What do they see? What do they see? They see all the beauty surrounding That we just don't see They've kept all the innocence That we've left behind And I believe the children Could change our minds

Inside of Me 02:21
Inside of Me My skin might peel Before it breaks Cast me out For heavens sake Bridge 1 Do I leave myself too open? A target to attack I'm getting hard to recognise I'm grieving in black Chorus And while it might be getting Hard to see There's this fire Inside of me Who knows what I feel? Made to break Cast me out For heavens sake Bridge 2 Now, I'm only here in body My spirits wild and free I'm caught up with this fire Inside of me Chorus And while it might be getting Hard to see There's this fire Inside of me My heart might bleed But it won't break These eyes are wide I'm wide awake My best form of defence Is to prepare my attack Emptiness I recognise I'm grieving in black Chorus And while it might be getting Hard to see There's this fire Inside of me

No Need to Shiver When you're not sure Which way to go Reach out and take my hand You don't need to ask Who's side I'm on Of course I understand

Lions Heart 03:02
Lions Heart To learn to live takes courage There's no better time to start The answers to those questions Wait inside your lions heart You're all you've ever wanted You're life is precious and it starts today Pick up your fractured indecision Your lions heart will find a way Chorus 1 Oh, lions heart Make the most of every day There's no better time to start Make the most of every day You're one in a million. And there's a million ways to go Wake up your lions heart It's stronger than you know Chorus 2 Oh, lions heart Make the most of every day Indecision is your weakness Make the most of every day Chorus 1 Oh, lions heart Make the most of every day There's no better time to start Make the most of every day.

Zombies don't Feel Pain Plastic girls, dressed in pearls Walking down the street Business men in shirts and ties. And sales you'll never beat Gucci bags and tramps in rags Oh the great divide A gypsy woman begs for change. She's ignored by passers by You can hear the checkouts ringing And predict the steady tide Their egos raging like wild fires One hundred miles wide Zombies move amongst them Thumbs locked to tiny screens Designed to cause distraction And to nullify their dreams Chorus I want to walk towards them And shake them by the ears To try and make them understand That they've been lied to all these years I stop because I realise They'd only tell me I'm insane Can you tell me is it true? That zombies don't feel pain There's faceless heads in greens and reds To show this seasons styles There's a queue outside the apple store Please wait in single file And while you're busy with the day There's trolleys and bags to fill You'd see beyond the madness With some time for standing still Chorus I want to walk towards them And shake them by the ears To try and make them understand That they've been lied to all these years I stop because I realise They'd only tell me I'm insane Can you tell me is it true? That zombies don't feel pain There's diamond encrusted watches Do they do more than tell the time? There's food that costs a fortune If you can afford to dine On the corner an old busker Singing songs from times gone by In the end I've just one question And it starts and ends with why Chorus I want to walk towards them And shake them by the ears To try and make them understand That they've been lied to all these years I stop because I realise They'd only tell me I'm insane Can you tell me is it true? That zombies don't feel pain

Living in Fear How can I love in a world? That I can't understand How can I help us steer? Away from this sinking sand How can I make the most? Of this moment today How can I accept myself? While I'm turning away Bridge 1 The wind is her voice The birds have her ears How can I love in a world? Where I'm living in fear Chorus How can I love in a world? Where I'm living in fear Bridge 2 Peace, love, happiness They must be out there Somewhere I guess When you find them Can someone please let me know How can I love in a world? That I can't understand How can I keep these feelings? Caged up in these hands Bridge 1 & Chorus & Bridge 2 How can I love in a world? It's getting harder each year How can we love in a world? And watch love dissapear Bridge 1 & Chorus & Bridge 2

Teach me How to be a Hero Teach me how to be a hero I'm starting from zero I've got nothing left to loose What is it that I need to choose? Chorus What's right? What's wrong? This light Can't be wrong Teach me how to be a hero I'm starting from zero Guide me till I'm really free Fists of rage, and eyes that see Chorus What's right? What's wrong? This light Can't be wrong Teach me how to be a hero I'm starting from zero Why is it that I feel displaced? As if I come from outer space Chorus 2 What's right? What's wrong? This fight Can't be wrong Chorus What's right? What's wrong? This light Can't be wrong Bridge Teach me how to be a hero.

Chorus When you're going backwards It all looks much the same Would you take the time? To know this strangers name Two Earth's, if only Right back to the start Focus on the head Or focus on the heart? Chorus When you're going backwards It all looks much the same Would you take the time? To know a strangers name Would you take the time? To know this strangers name

about

It's been quite the journey to write this album, to say the least. Inspiration was found in many places, and I'm grateful for all of it.
They say that a mind stretched by new experiences, can never return to it's old dimensions, and I now truly understand this quote. It is fair to say that life will never be the same again.. The only way is forwards now, and to continue my growth as both a musician, and a human being :)
I could ramble on about the challenges faced with this lifestyle, but I'll save that for the book. In the end, very few would ever truly know, without the experiences.
Music and nature have touched me in ways I could have never imagined when I stated this journey, and it is fair to say that I am well and truly passed the point of no return!

released June 7, 2018

Many people have moved me during my 5 year journey.
I would like to thank the friends that have always believed in me, and my work. In particular brother Helge Revheim, who has put me up multiple times in Norway, at times when I really needed to recover. Also brother Lars in North of Norway, who was there for me, when I really needed a friend. Brother Pete, who when reading this will know the reasons why.
Brother Steve and Sister Jerri, for believing in my work and for the amazing artwork. My family for all the support over the years, and helping me heal when I visit Wales.
Also all of my friends on the road.

about

Lee Rice Saint Asaph, UK

What a journey these last few years have been, rewarding and challenging.
Music is my life and gradually it has really taken over and now I live for music everyday. My home in North Wales is a great place for me to spend some time writing but I'm in my element when I'm travelling, busking, meeting people and trying to make the most of life.
I love Nature and feel more connected to it everyday :)
